Jarnot is one of the most sought-after singers of his generation. Since winning
the first prize in 2000 at the ARD competition in Munich he has sung in many of

In the past few years Konrad Jarnot has become one of the leading international
Lied-interpreters. He has sung in London, Berlin, Munich, Dresden, Stuttgart,
Bonn, Bayreuth, Zurich, Lucerne, Montreux, Prague, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Madrid,
Valencia, Milan, Palermo, Perugia, Bolzano, Meran, Lisbon, Paris, Lille,
Bruxelles, Antwerpen, Athens, Luxor, Capetown, Helsinki, Savonlinna, Kopenhagen,
Washington, Seattle, Boston, Tokyo and many others. Many of his live
performances have been broadcast on radio. He has appeared on television and has
recorded CDs for Harmonia Mundi, OehmsClassics and Orfeo, some of which have won
prizes as for example the Deutsche Schallplattenkritik and Diapason d’Or.
Konrad
Jarnot has become Professor at Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf and has
taught masterclasses in Europe and Japan. He has been jury member of
international singing competitions, among others the ARD Competition in Munich.
